Rebrand "La Capital Tacos"

La Capital Tacos is a Mexican restaurant that has been part of the Troy, New York community for over five years. The owner wanted to preserve the original logo for its personal significance but sought a refreshed and more contemporary visual identity.

Challenge

The challenge was to modernize the brand without losing its authenticity. I simplified the main symbol to improve legibility and ensure easier reproduction across both print and digital applications.

Results

I developed a flexible and cost-effective visual system, creating a custom seal design to be used on labels, bags, and packaging, an affordable yet elevated branding solution.

The updated identity extended across menus, tablecloths, aprons, gift cards, t-shirts, and vehicle graphics, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable brand presence.

Finally, I introduced a vibrant, culturally inspired color palette and a series of icons and patterns that celebrate the energy, warmth, and creativity of Mexican culture.
